How to apply for Board certification 

The purpose of the Georgia Board for Christian Counselors is to provide accountability for Christian and/or pastoral counselors through board certification. We believe that all Christian counselors should be qualified and held accountable for their practices.

Our standards reflect the highest calling of our faith. The Georgia Board for Christian Counselors provides board certification for Christian and/or pastoral counselors who are committed to providing a high level of professionalism by using Biblical principles and conforming to our Statement of Faith and Code of Ethics. They must also follow established standards, personal; integrity, and continual excellence through ongoing education and training.

Certification is available as a Christian counselor and/or as a Pastoral counselor.  To apply, complete the application, selecting either Christian Counselor or Pastoral Counselor as applicable.  Ensure that you have included all required attachments and submit the completed application along with the $250 nonrefundable application fee.  The fee may be submitted via credit card or to the address listed on the form.
